Alright, I just got back from the Yearly Kos Convention. In short, it was a blast. I got to meet all kinds of like-minded people, and being a 14 year-old, that was pretty cool. Everybody who genuinely expressed interest in me, talked to me, and made me feel cool for being 14 and still being interested in politics, thanks bunches.
Lots of people I talked to made me feel welcome and some even gave me their business cards and offered me opportunities to be part of, or start chapters of, the PDA (Progressive Democrats of America), NCAC (National Coalition Against Censorship), and even Screening Liberally, a newly started program from Living Liberally ( www.livingliberally.org ). In fact, I'm most likely going to start a chapter here in little Eugene, Oregon.
I hope to see all of you next year in person at the newly named Netroots Nation Convention, and I'll probably see your diaries at DailyKos, even though I lurk.
